Short answer: Nah. Swearing's part of the package and the vibe of Los Santos. If you're not down with the language, you might have to look for a different virtual city to roam.

Nope, there's no way to filter out the swearing in GTA 5. The game's dialogue and mission content come with a pretty hefty dose of adult language that's baked right into the experience. So, if you're looking to keep the airwaves clean, GTA might not be the playground for you.

I wish! Tried finding a way to tone down the swearing for when my nephew visits but no luck. GTA 5 doesn't have an option for that, so we switched to playing something a bit more family-friendly during his stays.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
