No, you can't turn off the chat completely in Among Us, but you can ignore it or minimize the chat window!

Not really, but you can mute other players and just not look at the chat. Just focus on those tasks, Captain!

From what I've experienced, the chat is always on, but you can choose to just not read it! Task completion FTW!
