Yep, you totally can upgrade the SSD in your Steam Deck, but keep your toolkit ready because it's not a walk in the park. The Steam Deck uses an M.2 2230 SSD. However, Valve doesn't officially support swapping it out and warns it might involve risks. If you're tech-savvy or daring, you can enhance your Steam Deck's storage space. Just remember, proceed with caution and at your own risk!

Nope, don't do it. Valve didn't design the Steam Deck for easy upgrades. Stick with external storage to avoid headaches (and possibly voiding your warranty).

Actually, I've upgraded the SSD in my Steam Deck, and it's running smoother than ever! Got myself a faster M.2 2230 SSD and carefully followed a guide I found online. It's definitely doable, just make sure you're up for the challenge and understand the risks involved.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
