Yep, you can totally use altered art cards in MTG, as long as the alterations don't obscure any key info like the card name, mana cost, or power/toughness. Just keep in mind that in official tournaments, a judge has the final say on whether your altered card is cool to play, so it's a good idea to have a backup just in case!

Absolutely! Altered art cards are a go as long as they're recognizable and the essential info isn't messed up. Been playing with a few in my deck and it's never been an issue at local events. Just double-check with judges at competitive events - they're the law.

Nah, keep it pure. Altered art cards can cause confusion and sometimes just aren't worth the hassle in official play. Stick to the originals.

Sure, but why stop at altered art? Full-art and custom sleeves all the way!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
