Absolutely, you can use an external hard drive for PS3! Just make sure it's formatted to FAT32, because that's the only file system the PS3 recognizes.

I鈥檝e been using an external hard drive on my PS3 for years! Just format it to FAT32, and you're good to go. I store all my movies and game backups on it.

No. The PS3 won't recognize NTFS or exFAT formatted drives. Stick to FAT32 if you want it to work.

Yes, but remember to format the drive to FAT32. NTFS and exFAT won鈥檛 work on the PS3.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
