Absolutely! The Steam Deck is pretty flexible, operating essentially as a portable PC. You can plug in a mouse and keyboard using the USB-C port or through a USB-C hub if you need more connections. It’s great for those moments when you want the full desktop gaming experience on the go.

Short answer, yes! The Steam Deck supports mouse and keyboard input. Perfect for strategy games or any title that feels more natural with the old-school PC setup.

Yeah, you can, but why would you want to? The whole point of the Steam Deck is portability and using it like a handheld console. Just my two cents.

Can confirm firsthand! Hooked up my mechanical keyboard and gaming mouse to my Steam Deck for a session of Age of Empires IV. Worked like a charm with no issues. It essentially turns it into a compact gaming PC. Awesome for when I'm traveling.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
