No, you can't use a PS3 controller on a PS4 without third-party hardware.

I tried using my old PS3 controller on my PS4 with an adapter, and it wasn't worth the hassle. Just stick with the DualShock 4!

Nope, unfortunately PS3 controllers aren't natively compatible with the PS4. You'd need an adapter, but they're not guaranteed to work smoothly.

Not directly. You might get it to work with a special adapter, but it's easier just to use a PS4 controller.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
