Not in the way you might think. The Steam Deck is primarily a portable PC gaming device, designed for playing games directly off the device itself. It doesn't function as a traditional controller for other systems or PCs. However, since it's a highly adaptable piece of tech, enthusiasts in the community might find workarounds to use it in ways beyond its intended purpose.

Nope. The Steam Deck is more like a mini PC for your gaming on the go, not a controller.

Actually, with some creativity and potential software tweaks, you could get it to work as a controller for PC gaming. Haven't seen it officially supported, but where there's a will, there's a way, right? I've seen folks do more with less.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
