Absolutely! While the Steam Deck is primarily designed for gaming, it's pretty versatile. You can stream movies through web browsers or install streaming apps using SteamOS’ desktop mode. Just switch to desktop mode, download your favorite streaming service, and you're good to go.

For sure! I watched Netflix on mine last weekend. Just had to install it via desktop mode. The process was a bit roundabout but worked seamlessly after setup.

Yes, but not directly like your usual streaming device. You need to dive into desktop mode to access streaming services. A bit of a workaround but totally doable.

Honestly, it's a gaming device, not a media player. Better stick to other gadgets for movies.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
