Honestly, they should've made it an option. Invincible companions kinda take the thrill out of combat, don't you think?

Nope, your companions in Fallout 4 have the luck of a cat with nine lives. They can get knocked down in battles, but they don't actually die. They'll just take a knee until the fight's over, then it's back to adventuring with you. Just make sure to give them a good pat and maybe some Stimpaks; they've earned it.

totally not, partners in Fallout 4 are tougher than old boot leather. They might play dead better than your dog pretending not to hear you but give them a minute, and they're up and at 'em again.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
