Yeah, Funimation took over for the Ocean dub during the show's run in North America. It brought a lot of changes, including new voices!

Yup, Dragon Ball Z switched from Ocean to Funimation around the time of the Ginyu Force saga in 1999.

Actually, the Ocean Group started dubbing Dragon Ball Z in the early 90s, but Funimation took over later. Trust me, I remember the shock when Goku's voice changed!
