Actually, GTA 5 was delayed before it was released. Originally slated for a Spring 2013 release, it got pushed to September 17, 2013. So yeah, it did face a delay, but just a minor hiccup in its grand scheme of world domination.
Nope, GTA 5 didn't get delayed. It launched right on schedule back in 2013 and has been wreaking havoc in our gaming lives ever since. If you're talking about GTA 6, though, that's a whole other story with its release date dancing around the calendar.
