Nope, Masashi Kishimoto, the creator of Naruto, didn't write Boruto. Ukyo Kodachi and Mikio Ikemoto took charge of the manga initially!

Kishimoto didn't start Boruto, but he took over from Kodachi in November 2020. So, it's a mix!

Just so you know, Kishimoto wasn't the original writer for Boruto, although he does oversee the overall direction.

No, Kishimoto didn't write Boruto... at first. Ukyo Kodachi and Mikio Ikemoto were the main writers, but Kishimoto took over later!
