Masashi Kishimoto, the creator of Naruto, did not initially make Boruto. Ukyo Kodachi wrote the Boruto manga, and Mikio Ikemoto illustrated it. However, Kishimoto took over writing duties later on.

Nope, it was Ukyo Kodachi and Mikio Ikemoto who kicked off Boruto, but Kishimoto did step in eventually.

Kishimoto came in later. Ukyo Kodachi and Mikio Ikemoto were the original minds behind Boruto.
