Yes, PlayStation stopped selling movies and TV shows on the PlayStation Store in August 2021. Guess they figured you'd rather be gaming!

Yep, you can't buy or rent movies on the PlayStation Store anymore. Sucks, but more room for epic game sales!

I miss buying movies on my PS4, but they ditched the service in 2021. Time to binge-watch some extra games instead!

Yeah, PlayStation pulled the plug on selling and renting movies and TV shows from the store as of August 31, 2021. More space for games and DLCs!

Nope, they didn't. You just can't buy or rent them through the PS Store anymore. You can still watch through apps like Netflix or Disney+.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
