Yep, when you're casting an Aura spell, it definitely targets. You gotta choose what it's attaching to right when you cast it, according to the rules. So, always pick your target wisely to avoid any counters or removals ruining your grand plan!

Actually, the targeting part is what makes Auras risky business. If the target disappears before the Aura hits, say bye-bye to your spell due to lack of targets. Kinda like trying to put a saddle on a ghost horse. Not gonna work.

Short answer: Yes, they target when cast. Gotta know what you're enchanting from the get-go!

No, they don't. Just kidding, they totally do. Strategy tip: Use this targeting rule to your advantage with cards that trigger upon targeting or to outsmart your opponent's removal spells.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
