Short answer: No, they don't. When a card goes to the exile zone, it's like it's entering the Witness Protection Program: it forgets everything about its past life, including what sent it there.

Nope, in Magic The Gathering, cards don't keep a record of what exiled them. Once a card is exiled, it's just in exile without any memory of how it got there. The mechanics of the game don't require tracking the source of exile, just the state of being exiled.

Absolutely not. The exile zone is like a black hole for cards - once they're in, their past interactions, including what exiled them, are irrelevant. The game mechanics focus on the present state of cards, not their history.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
