Nope, you don't need to watch the original Fullmetal Alchemist before diving into Brotherhood. Brotherhood sticks closer to the manga and offers a more complete story. Enjoy the ride!

Don't bother with the first one. Brotherhood is all you need.

You can jump straight into Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood without needing to watch the 2003 version. Brotherhood covers the same ground and then some!

As someone who watched both, it's not necessary to watch the original first, but it gives you a different perspective on the story. Both are fantastic in their own right!

If you're a Fullmetal Alchemist fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
