Nope, you don't *need* WiFi to enjoy the main bits of Animal Crossing! Most of the game, including fishing, bug catching, and decorating your island, can be done offline. WiFi's mainly for visiting friends' islands or downloading updates and seasonal events. So, if you're planning a solo adventure on your own island paradise, you're all set without WiFi!

Gonna throw in a different take here: sure, you can play Animal Crossing without WiFi, but IMO, you're missing out on half the fun. Visiting friends, trading items, and those special seasonal events really make the game for me. So yeah, you don't need it, but you kinda do if you wanna experience everything.

Actually, you don't need WiFi to play Animal Crossing at all. The game saves your progress locally, so you can fully enjoy your deserted island getaway offline. However, if you wanna see what your friends are up to or grab some special items, you'll need to hop online.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
