Not necessarily. It really depends on the extent of the damage. Sometimes only parts of the house need to be rebuilt.

Nah, a full teardown's pretty rare. Most of the time, it's just about fixing the damaged portions.

From my experience, no. We had a fire in our kitchen and just needed some restoration work鈥攏ot a full teardown. It totally depends on how much of the structure is left intact and safe.

Usually not. Most house fires don't need a complete teardown, just some serious repairs and restoration! Although, if the house looks more like a toasted marshmallow, then yeah, maybe a teardown is in order!

Hot take: If it鈥檚 a small fire, just call in a contractor. No need for a complete teardown.
