Do MTG Cards Have Wax on the Surface?
RequestingFinal路7 months agoNah, MTG cards don't have a wax coating. They're printed on a special card stock that's kind of glossy to begin with. It might feel a bit slick or smooth, but that's just the finish on the paper, not wax.

Not at all! MTG cards are wax-free. They're designed to handle lots of shuffling and playing without needing a wax layer. The gloss you see is due to the type of card stock and printing process.
Wax on MTG cards? No way. The smooth feel? That's quality printing, not a candle making session. Pure card stock wizardry!
