from the Innistrad: Midnight Hunt set don't get daybound. Daybound/Nightbound is a new mechanic introduced in that set, so it only applies to cards printed with it or future cards that specifically mention the mechanic.

Nope, only the new werewolves have the daybound/nightbound mechanic. Old ones stick to the classic transformation triggers.
