Sadly, a direct connection doesn’t work, but you can try connecting it via Remote Play on a PC or mobile device.

Nope, PS5 controllers don’t work on PS4. But you can use a PS4 controller on a PS5 for PS4 games!

They don't work natively. Stick with your DualShock 4 for PS4 gaming.

I've tried it myself and nope, my PS5 controller just wouldn't pair with my PS4. Guess I'll keep both around!
