Most don't. Winning big tournaments or getting consistent finishes might net some good money, but it's a tough scene. Only a few at the very top can say they make a living off it.

You kidding? Unless you're at the top winning World Championships, good luck paying rent. MTG is more passion than payday.

Not exactly swimming in gold like Scrooge McDuck, but some top-tier Magic The Gathering pros do make a decent chunk of change. Prize pools in big tournaments can be pretty hefty, plus there's sponsorship deals, Twitch streaming, and YouTube content creation. It's like a pie - the more slices you grab (tournaments, content, sponsorships), the bigger your portion!

Can confirm, it's a mix. Made a bit from tourneys and streaming on the side. It's no fortune, but it's more than just pocket money. Helps when you love the game.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
