PSN accounts generally don't get deleted unless you request it. So, if you're taking a gaming hiatus, rest easy. Your account will still be there when you return!

They can be deleted if you ask Sony to do so, but it's not something that happens automatically. Your account is safe as long as you don't request deletion.

Nope, they don't just disappear. Unless you contact Sony and ask for it to be deleted, your PSN account stays active.
