Nope, Xbox controllers don't have a built-in mic. You’ll need a headset for that!

Not at all. You need to get a separate headset for voice chat.

Actually, Xbox controllers themselves don’t come with a mic. You can plug in a headset which usually includes a mic.

I’ve been using Xbox controllers for years and they definitely don’t have an integrated mic. You gotta get a headset.
