Technically, no, you don't HAVE to spend money on MTG Arena. It's free-to-play and gives you a decent start with free decks. But, if you wanna dive deep into more competitive play or snag those exclusive cards faster, dropping some cash does speed things up. It's all about how patient you are or how thick your wallet is.

Honestly, yes if you want to enjoy it to the fullest. The free stuff only gets you so far. To compete with the big guns and have a real shot at the top ranks, you're gonna want to invest in some booster packs or event entries.

Nope, not a cent! But expect to grind a LOT if you're aiming for the top without opening your wallet. Winning and daily quests get you there, slowly but surely.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
