Absolutely, you do need a GPU to run Apex Legends. The game's graphics are pretty demanding, and to experience it the way it's meant to be, a decent GPU is a must. Doesn't have to be the latest and greatest, but you'll want something that can handle its dynamic gameplay and detailed environments.

Short answer: Yes. Long answer: Yes, because without a GPU, your experience will be less 'Legends' and more 'SlideShow'. Get a good GPU, thank me later.

Honestly, you can try running it with an integrated GPU if you have a very recent CPU, but it's like bringing a knife to a gunfight. Doable, but not recommended.

Ok, here's the deal: Yes, you NEED a GPU. I ran it on an old rig without a dedicated GPU once. It was like watching a PowerPoint presentation of my character dying over and over. Not fun.

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
