Does a Shovel Do Anything in Fallout 76?
Surprisingly, shovels don't have a special function in Fallout 76. They're part of the scenery, good for a bit of roleplay or as a melee weapon if you're desperate, but you can't use them for digging or anything useful like that. Missed opportunity, if you ask me!

Nope, shovels in Fallout 76 are just for show. You might think it'd let you dig up treasure or something cool, but nope, they're basically just decorative items. You can whack enemies with it if you want to feel like a post-apocalyptic gardener though!
Gotta disagree with the crowd here - while shovels aren't game-changers, they add to the immersion. Plus, swinging one around can be surprisingly satisfying. Not exactly a tool of the trade, but don't knock it till you try it.
Shovels? Useful? In Fallout 76, they're as helpful as a chocolate teapot. Just a novelty item to swing around or sell if you need a few extra Caps.
