Toriyama had minimal involvement in GT, but he did design some characters and has shown no public disdain for it. It's kinda a 'meh' from him.

GT was mostly Toei Animation's project, not Toriyama's brainchild. He seems pretty neutral about it.

From what I've read, Akira Toriyama wasn't super involved in Dragon Ball GT's production, so he doesn't consider it his baby. But he did contribute to character designs and gave his blessing, so he doesn鈥檛 seem to dislike it either!
