Yep, Animal Crossing: New Horizons does support cloud saves, but there's a catch! You gotta have a Nintendo Switch Online membership to use the feature. It's super handy for backing up your island so you don't lose all your hard work if something happens to your Switch. Just remember, it's not enabled by default, so you have to turn it on manually in the game's settings.

Nuh-uh, I wouldn鈥檛 call it true cloud saves. It's more like a backup service exclusive for Nintendo Switch Online members. You can't just hop onto another device and continue from where you left off. It's good for backups, but don't expect the same cloud freedom as other platforms!

Can confirm, cloud saves are a thing in Animal Crossing: New Horizons but only with a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Saved my island when I lost my Switch on a bus, true lifesaver!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
