Apex Legends on AMD Athlon? Short answer: Yes, but it's not pretty. Expect some serious lag and graphical compromises. You've been warned!

Nah, it's not like Apex Legends flat-out doesn't work on AMD Athlon processors, but you're kinda barking up the wrong tree if you expect top-notch performance. Apex Legends can be quite demanding, especially in the thick of the action. An AMD Athlon might run the game, but expect to dial those settings down to keep things smooth. If gaming's a big deal for you, might be time to consider an upgrade!

I've actually played Apex Legends on an older AMD Athlon setup. Had to turn the graphics way down and it wasn't the prettiest, but it ran. Not ideal, but playable if you鈥檙e not too picky.

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
