Short answer: Yes, it counts. When you copy something, it's like you're giving it a whole new entrance ticket to the magical battlefield party.

Totally does! When a card becomes a copy of something else in MTG, it's like it's entering the battlefield all over again but as the copy. This means it's treated as entering the game just like any new creature or spell would, following the same rules and triggers. So, if you've got abilities or effects that trigger 'when a creature enters the battlefield,' and your card becomes a copy, you're in luck to see those effects kick in!

Nah, it's not the same. Copying is just mirroring what's already there, not throwing a welcome party.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
