Yep, Bloodbriar totally gets buffed when tokens go to the graveyard. Since tokens do hit the graveyard before poofing out of existence, Bloodbriar snags a +1/+1 counter for each one that bites the dust. So, if you're running a deck that sacrifices tokens, Bloodbriar can become a real powerhouse!

Short answer: Yes. Tokens do go to the graveyard momentarily before they vanish, so Bloodbriar gets his counters.

As someone who's tried this combo, I can confirm Bloodbriar loves it when tokens die. It's like a buffet for him, every token that hits the graveyard is a +1/+1 counter. Great for decks that sacrifice tokens for the greater good!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
