Absolutely, Braid of Fire can work wonders with instants in Magic The Gathering! Since Braid of Fire gives you red mana during your upkeep, you can use it to cast instants since those can be cast pretty much any time. Just remember, the mana vanishes once the step ends, so have those instants ready to fly!

Hot take: Braid of Fire is a niche card, better in Commander. Sure, you can use it for instants, but how many red instants are you casting during upkeep?

I've used Braid of Fire in a deck before. It's clutch for utility instants or abilities that you can trigger during your upkeep. Great for keeping opponents on their toes without dipping into your main mana pool for the turn.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
