Nah, damage doesn't 'stack' in MTG like you might think. If a creature takes enough damage to equal or exceed its toughness in a single turn, it's destroyed. But, if it survives the turn, it's like nothing happened – it's all fresh at the start of the next turn. So, if your 3/3 beastie takes 2 damage, it's still swinging unless it takes another 1 damage before cleanup.

Actually, damage resets every turn. Think of it as each creature getting a good night's sleep and waking up fresh.

Yes and no. Damage doesn't 'stack' in the traditional sense. If a 4/4 creature takes 3 damage this turn, it needs only 1 more damage to be destroyed this turn. However, when the turn ends, any undestroyed creature heals back up. So, in that sense, damage doesn't carry over or accumulate over multiple turns.

People often get confused here, but it's simple. Damage does not stack across turns. What happens in the turn, stays in the turn.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
