Nope, equipment itself doesn't tap when it's used to equip a creature in MTG. The equipment just sits there, chill and untapped, enhancing your creature until the end of time (or until the game ends, more realistically). You do have to pay the equip cost to attach it to a creature, but after that, it just hangs out, no tapping required.

Short answer: No. Equipment cards do not tap when they're equipping a creature. They're like that one friend who helps without asking for anything back.

Everyone's saying equipment doesn't tap, but let's not forget, it's the creatures that do all the heavy lifting, literally! So, stick that Sword of Feast and Famine on your creature and watch it do the work unencumbered by taps.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
