Yes and no. More recent cards might have a holo version, especially in special or collector's editions, but back in the day, a lot of cards were just plain Jane, no sparkle, no shine. So, if you're digging through your attic hoping every card you find is gonna blind you with its holo glory, you might be in for a disappointment.

Nope, not every MTG card has a holo version. While it's true that many recent sets do include special foil or holo versions for some cards, this isn't the case for every card ever made. Usually, these special versions are rarer and often sought after by collectors, but older cards, especially from the earliest sets, might not have holo versions at all.

Absolutely not! Many classic cards lack holo versions entirely. It's mostly newer releases that feature these shiny variants.

Nah, every MTG card definitely doesn't have a holo version. Some of the older sets don't have any holo cards. It's more of a modern thing.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
