Does Fallout Shelter run when closed on PC?
JokingTunic路8 months agoNope, it doesn't really 'run' in the traditional sense. You won't miss out on anything major, but your resources will deplete, and your Dwellers won't be as happy when you get back. It's more like the game progresses without you.

Yep, Fallout Shelter does keep ticking even when you're not playing. Your Vault keeps on running, gathering resources, and your Dwellers will keep working on their tasks. Just like life, the game doesn't pause just because you're not looking!
Actually, it kinda pauses but not really. Your Vault's resources will deplete slowly, and you might face some consequences if you're gone too long. But it's nothing you can't manage once you're back on.
It does! But don't worry about coming back to a disaster. The game balances things out, so you won't return to total chaos. You'll just have a bit of catching up to do with your resources and Dwellers.
