Does First Strike Deathtouch kill before the enemy can attack in MTG?
AttemptingDance路7 months agoYeah, it does. First Strike means hit first and ask questions later. Deathtouch means just a scratch is lethal. Put 'em together, and your creature becomes an elite ninja assassin that doesn't even let the other guy swing.

Absolutely, First Strike + Deathtouch is a deadly combo in Magic The Gathering. First Strike lets the creature deal its damage before regular combat damage happens. So, if it has Deathtouch (which means any amount of damage it deals is enough to destroy a creature), it can take out the opponent's creature before it even gets a chance to fight back. So yeah, the enemy doesn't get to hit back if it's already toast!
Not a fan. Sure, First Strike + Deathtouch sounds cool, but there are so many ways to counter it. Just play smarter, not harder.
