Actually, it's not really 'free' since you gotta buy the game first. But after that, yeah, you can free roam all you want in GTA 5.

GTA 5 free play? More like pay to play then free roam. But yes, once you own it, Los Santos is your oyster.

Yup, GTA 5 definitely has a free play mode, also known as free roam. In this mode, you can explore Los Santos without any mission constraints, messing around the city, causing mayhem, or just enjoying a scenic drive along the Vinewood hills. It's the perfect playground for when you don't feel like following the storyline!

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
