Grey as in artifacts? Nope, doesn't count as a color. Colorless is not a color in MTG.

Nah, grey doesn't count toward color in Magic The Gathering. Grey usually represents artifacts or colorless cards. These don't have a color identity like red, blue, green, black, or white do. So if you're building a deck and wondering if grey cards affect your color identity, they don't!

Simple answer: No. Grey (colorless) cards in Magic The Gathering don't count as a color.

Gonna go against the grain here - while technically grey/colorless cards aren't a 'color' in the traditional MTG sense, don't underestimate their impact in a color-focused deck. Their versatility can complement any color strategy!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
