Does Infect lower life points in MTG?
PassingDada路7 months agoNah, infect doesn't chip away at life points directly. Instead, it deals damage in the form of poison counters. A player loses when they rack up 10 of these nasty counters, regardless of their life total. So, you could say it's a sneaky backdoor to victory!

Actually, infect is kind of brutal if you think about it. It skims past life like it's nothing and goes straight for the poison win. Played right, it's a fast track to seeing your opponent squirm. Just my two cents from playing a few too many infect decks.
Infect ignores regular life point damage. It's all about those poison counters!
