Nope, the internet connection doesn’t affect the environment rendering in The Division 2 on PC. That's all on your hardware!

In my experience, The Division 2's environment rendering quality is based on your PC's performance and not your internet speed. I play with a solid gaming rig and even when my internet lags, the game world stays crisp.

Render quality is local to your machine, so go ahead and blame your GPU or CPU but not your internet!

Internet issues might cause lag or disconnects, but they won’t mess with the environmental rendering. Your graphics card and CPU handle that.

The game’s environment rendering is handled by your PC hardware, so a slow internet won't turn those detailed city streets into potato graphics.
