Nope, Mario Odyssey doesn't turn into Super Mario 64. But it does have a fun tribute to Mario's past with the Mushroom Kingdom area that looks like Super Mario 64!

No, they are separate games. However, in Mario Odyssey, you can visit a place inspired by Mario 64. It's pretty nostalgic!

Absolutely not! Super Mario Odyssey and Super Mario 64 are two distinct games, though Odyssey has a special kingdom that pays homage to 64.

Short answer: no. Odyssey just has some fun 64 Easter eggs.

I played both games, and while Mario Odyssey has throwbacks to Mario 64, it doesn鈥檛 turn into it. They're just lovely nods!
