You can use a PS4 controller on a PS3, but only with a wired connection. Bluetooth pairing can be hit or miss, so keep that USB cable handy!

Yep, a PS4 controller (DualShock 4) will work on a PS3, but there are some limitations. You'll need to connect it via USB cable or pair it via Bluetooth for it to function. However, some games may not recognize the controller, and certain features like the touchpad won't work.

Nah, it's not worth it. Just use a PS3 controller. Fewer headaches.

As someone who's done it before, I can tell you the PS4 DualShock works on the PS3 pretty well with a USB cable. Just don't expect all the cool features to carry over.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
