Absolutely! In MTG, when you're redistributing health, it's considered life gain for the player who's getting the health boost. This means any triggers or conditions looking for 'life gain' will activate. Remember, the magic's in the details!

As a long-time MTG player, I've seen this debated at many tables. From my experience, most of the time redistribution does count as life gain, especially if you're ending up with more health than you started with. But, it's MTG; there are exceptions to every rule.

Nah, not always. It really depends on how the card is worded. Some effects that redistribute life don't count as life gain because they set a player's life total to a specific number rather than actually 'gaining' life. Always read your cards closely.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
