Sorry, but The Sims 3 is not backwards compatible on the Xbox One. You'll have to dust off that 360 to play it.

I tried playing The Sims 3 from my 360 collection on my Xbox One, but no luck. Not all 360 games are backwards compatible, and this one isn't.

Unfortunately, The Sims 3 for Xbox 360 isn't supported on Xbox One. Microsoft has a list of backward compatible games, and sadly, Sims 3 didn't make the cut.
