I鈥檝e had my PS5 standing upright since launch day, and it's been running like a champ. As long as it鈥檚 in a stable place, you鈥檙e good.
Nah, it won鈥檛 harm it. Sony explicitly says either position is fine. I鈥檝e seen more issues with horizontal placement blocking airflow, tbh.
Nope, it's perfectly safe to stand your PS5 vertically. Sony designed it to work both ways, so go ahead and show it off in all its towering glory!
