Lol nope, Taiga doesn't count as a basic land in Magic The Gathering. It's actually a dual land, meaning it can tap for two types of mana (red and green), but doesn't have the 'Basic' supertype. So, you can't just go fetching it with anything that says 'search for a basic land.'

No, Taiga isn鈥檛 a basic land. It's part of those fancy 'dual lands' that can be super useful for mana fixing in your deck, but it definitely doesn't get the basic land privileges.

Just to add to the confusion, Taiga doesn鈥檛 count as a basic land, but yes, it's a powerhouse in decks that can use it. #NotABasicLandButStillAwesome

Taiga as basic? Wishful thinking! It's a dual land, not basic. There's a huge difference.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
